We so often hear of our fallen soldiers who have paid the ultimate price but we rarely hear about the ones who come home with life-altering injuries. When my buddy's son came home badly injured from serving overseas, I was shocked when I found out he didn't have full mobility in his own home. Yes, the government helps out but even they know that they can't do all the home renos that are really needed. Having worked over 40 years in the building industry, I knew this was my chance to make a difference and how Renos for Heroes started.
Together with your help, we can assist these brave men and women in regaining full mobility in their own homes and live the independent lives that we all take for granted.
